As a fan of fresh ingredients, if there is mango in the store, I use it for this smoothie recipe. You can cut it into cubes or use a glass to separate the soft part from the skin (it's very easy).
If you are using fresh mango, you should use frozen banana in the recipe to make the smoothie thick and cold.
If you are using frozen mango, you can use fresh banana. In other words, just make sure that at least one of the two is frozen.
